The North Dakota 4-H Foundation is a group of dedicated volunteers who recognize the impact of 4-H on the lives of youth.

The Mission:

The ND 4-H Foundation secures and manages financial resources to enhance and expand the ND 4-H program

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting 4-H programs with private funds for furthering leadership development, education, research and scholarships and creating opportunities for the youth of North Dakota.

  • To educate and inform the public of the Foundation and its working partnership with 4-H youth development programs.
  • To raise adequate funds to fulfill its mission on an annual basis.
  • To modify and strengthen the 4-H Foundation board structure.

4-H Scholarship Applications Due March 1

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation offers several scholarships to present and former 4-H members. For consideration, applicants must complete the Scholarship Application by March 1st and send it to the Center for 4-H Youth Development at North Dakota State University. Information about the scholarship, scholarship amount and requirements are available at http://www.ndsu.edu/4h/foundation/scholarships/. Please use the Scholarship Application at the web-site since it is the most current version.

ND 4-H Hall of Fame Nominations

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation inducts outstanding leaders and volunteers into the ND 4-H Hall of Fame each year. Criteria for selections requires 15 years or more of involvement at the local, county, or state level into the ND 4-H Hall of Fame each year. Nomination forms for this honor are due by March 1 of each year. The nominations form is found at the ND 4-H Foundation web-site at this address http://www.ndsu.edu/4h/foundation/recognition/.
