Outdoor Skills Camp

May 31 - June 4

Ages: 11 and older

Fee $260          

Early Bird Fee $235

Camp Description: Explore activities that will connect you to the outdoors. From hunting skills challenges to fishing, this camp will explore aspects of outdoor skill projects.  Included in the registration are fees for ATV Certification and Boat and Water Safety Certification.  Hands on live-fire exercises in the shooting disciplines and team challenges will make this camp an experience you will not forget! 

Bullseye! All Archery Camp

May 31 - June 4

Ages: 10 and older

Fee $225          

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Hit the bullseye with this camp to experience target recurve and bow hunter compound archery. Learn how to evaluate form and rig your bow. You will participate in archery projects, 3-D, field-archery and other contests.

 

 

Beaks and Tails: Small Animal Camp

June 7 - 11

Ages: 8 and older

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Bring your 4-H small animals for hands-on training in showmanship, fitting, nutrition and animal health. You will develop skills in proper daily care of your animals to be prepared for the show day. Learn the latest techniques for fitting and clipping in each species. 

 

 

Snouts and Hooves: Livestock Camp

June 7 - 11

Ages: 8 and older

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Learn how to show and fit your livestock in preparation for your county fair or achievement day! Learn to groom, clip, and show a variety of livestock, and a showmanship contest will be held and awards will be given. Make a rope halter to take home and test your knowledge of livestock with quiz bowl activities. Campers are encouraged to bring their own animals.

 

 

Just Starting to Trot: Wish I Had a Horse Camp

June 7 - 11

Ages: 8 – 10

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Have you always wanted a horse? This camp is for you, come learn how to saddle, bridle, ride, lead and drive a horse. From grooming demonstrations to a halter show, this if your chance to experience what owning a horse is like. This is a beginner camp for youth interested in horses; animal are not required.

 

 

Completing the Pattern: Horse Camp I

June 14 - 18

Ages: 8 and older

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Looking to improve your riding for events such as barrels, poles, horsemanship, or trail? Come and improve your horsemanship skills with other youth from across the state. Riding instruction will focus on improving the riders overall balance and control. You will need to bring a well-mannered, trained horse. 

 

 

Explorer: Survivor Outdoor Recreation Camp

June 14 -18

Ages: 10-12

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Could you survive in the wilds of ND? Nature provides for all our basic needs, so come have fun building shelters, tracking animals, discovering cool and exciting wilderness skills like fishing and orienteering while competing to win the coveted ND 4-H Camp Idol.

 

 

Clover Camp

June 19 - 20

Check in starts at 11 a.m. Friday. Camp ends at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Ages: 5 and over

Fee $225 (for one adult and one child; additional child: $50)

Early Bird Fee $200 (for one adult and one child; additional child: $50)

Camp Description: Have you always wanted to try out 4-H Camp? Come make new friends, explore the outdoors, and appreciate family time together in a beautiful outdoor setting in this great first-time overnight camp experience. Participate in craft projects and many other fun camp activities. This camp is for the whole family. Bring everyone to come see why campers have so much fun at camp!

 

 

Military Youth Camp I

June 21 - 25

Ages: 8-11

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Develop your self-confidence, problem solving, and stress management skills while forming lifelong bonds with other military youth. Leadership, cooperation and communication skills will be taught through team building activities such as friendly competitions, water fun, and much more.

This camp is sponsored by Operation: Military Kids and is intended only for youth who are members of military families.

 

 

Military Youth Camp II

June 21 - 25

Ages: 12-15

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

 

Camp Description: Strengthen your leadership and problem solving skills while completing action packed activities while forming life long bonds with other military youth. Develop self-confidence, communication and stress-management skills through team building activities such as friendly competitions, water fun, and much more.


This camp is sponsored by Operation: Military Kids and is intended only for youth who are members of military families.

 

 

4-H Adventure Camp

June 28 - July 2

Ages: 8 – 12

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Are you looking for an adventure? Create with arts and crafts and explore nature. Make lasting friendships while engaging in 4-H project activities. From archery to water games, this camp is full of non-stop excitement!

 

 

Horse Camp II

June 28 - July 2

Ages: 8 and older

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

4-H Encounters! Discover Camp

July 6 - 8

Camp Description: Did you like to discover new things? Come meet new friends and discover what 4-H camp is all about. A fun filled experience awaits you as you encounter your interests in fiber arts, healthful living, outdoor skills, and science. 

 

 

Explore Galore! Great Outdoors Camp

July 6 - 8

Check In is at 1pm on Monday and Check Out is at 4pm on Wednesday

Ages: 8 – 10

Fee $175              

Early Bird Fee $150

Camp Description: Do you like to explore the outdoors? Here's your chance to learn basic outdoor skills while having fun with nature. Learn how to identify insects, plants and animal tracks. Learn to tie survival knots, basic first aid and outdoor navigation. Make new friends while completing survival projects and outdoor crafts.

 

 

Trailblazing Teen: Leadership Camp

July 12 - 16

Ages: 13-15

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Want to change the world? Trail blaze your way to find and improve your leadership style. Explore teamwork, problem solving, community change, and the acceptance of others. Overcome challenges and engage in hands-on activities for youth in a broad range of organizations. 

 

 

Ultimate Explorer: Survivor Outdoor Recreation Camp

July 12 - 16

Ages: 13-15

Fee $260              

Early Bird Fee $235

Camp Description: Experience life on the wild side testing your survival skills. From after dark challenges to competitions, team building, leadership and self-confidence will be the ultimate outcome while competing to win the coveted ND 4-H Camp Idol. Nightly tribal council ceremonies will result in rewards and loss of privileges.

You’re the Chef: Boot Camp

July 26 - 30

Ages: 8 and over

Fee $225

Camp Description: Here’s your chance to become a top-notch chef! From learning how to make sweet treats to outdoor cooking to exploring food dehydration, this camp is designed for the future chef. It’s your chance to become familiar with kitchen equipment, measuring, baking terms, and judging food items. Be prepared to have fun!

 

 

Twisted: Fiber Arts Camp

August 2 - 6

Ages: 10 and older

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Hand craft your way into a fun week learning about a wide variety of basic techniques in working with fibers such as yarn, fabric, or thread. Try your hand at crocheting, knitting, felting, sewing, and quilting. Explore fiber, fabrics, supplies and resources needed for each technique all while experiencing the great outdoors.

 

 

Enter the Outdoor Lab! Science Camp

August 2 - 6

Ages: 8 and older

Fee $225             

Early Bird Fee $200

Camp Description: Join our outdoor learning lab to explore science at camp! Experience hands on activities while learning scientific inquiry and problem solving techniques. Use new technologies to discover new ways of thinking all while experiencing the great outdoors.
