A two-day camp to teach youth age 12 to 15 about aerospace. Discover your future in the world of aerospace careers!

  • Learn about the basics of aircraft structure, navigation and aerodynamics
  • Tour the altitude chamber
  • Learn about air traffic control
  • Take the controls in a digital aircraft simulator
  • Tour UND Aerospace

Youth must be accompanied by a chaperone. Chaperones must register and pay the same fee as youth participants. Counties may combine to share chaperones. It is suggested that one adult accompany every four to five youth. If the number of adults exceeds this ratio, they may be contacted to allow more space for youth to participate.

Registration Information

  • Any youth ages 12 to 15 who are interested in the field of aerospace may register.

  • Youth must be accompanied by a chaperone. Chaperone must register and pay the same fee as youth participants. Counties may combine to share chaperones.   • A registration fee of $32, (must be include in the registration). Fee includes materials, lodging, Sunday evening meal and snack, along with Monday morning continental breakfast at the motel.

  • Registration is due by April 2, 2010

  • Late registration will be placed on a waiting list if the program fills.

  • No refunds will be given to cancellations after April 9, 2010.

  • Registration is on a first come - first serve basis. Groups should register together.

  • Participants will be staying at the Comfort Inn, 3251 - 30th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND

Arriving at the Aerospace Event

  • Registration for the event will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 25 at the Comfort Inn, in Grand Forks. The program will begin at 1 p.m. at the UND School of Aerospace. All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the hotel and UND.
