Western 4-H Camp

The Western 4-H Camp has been committed to providing overnight, informal and educational experiences to youth for nearly 40 years and serves in excess of 300 campers per season!

Programs are designed to develop skills for safe and healthful living, enhance personal development and provide constructive uses of leisure time. We are committed to providing a safe environment where children can make new friends and develop new skills while enjoying the beauty of the cottonwoods along the Missouri River. The camp provides well-designed areas for horseback riding, canoeing, outdoor skills, hiking trails and more.

Our staff members are trained in nature, crafts, recreation, first aid, human development and working with youth to ensure a quality experience for campers. Specialized experts are brought in for each camp. The Western 4-H Camp is where kids can have fun discovering themselves and their surroundings.

It is not a requirement to be a 4-H member to attend camps.

Check out the Summer Camp section of the web site for information. For information on local 4-H camps, please contact your local extension office.
