NORTH DAKOTA 4-H VOLUNTEER PAGE

If you're a new 4-H volunteer, you probably have a lot of questions. The information on this page will help you learn about 4-H and how to get involved.

4-H is a fun, learn-by-doing educational program for young people. It's mission is to help youth become self-directed, productive, contributing members of their communities.

The quality of a youth's 4-H experience
to a large extent depends on the relationship
built between the 4-H members
and their volunteer leaders.

Adults and teens who are interested in becoming 4-H leaders can influence the development of young people in their communities through 4-H clubs. Clubs that are planned and "owned" by the adults and youth of a community create the moste successful 4-H clubs. If you are interested in becoming a 4-H volunteer or leader, please contact your local extension office for more information.
