Adult and Teen Volunteer Training

North Dakota 4-H Volunteer Project Trainings

Superheroes of 4-H

The ND 4-H Volunteer Project Trainings are fast approaching. Attending one of these events is a great way for your volunteers to gather new 4-H project ideas. Please encourage your 4-H teen and adult volunteers and parents to attend one of the three volunteer trainings scheduled for this fall. 4-H volunteers are welcome to attend any location. Each location needs 20 volunteers registered to host the event, so please encourage early registration. Dates for these trainings are:

Langdon Research Extension Center
Monday, November 3, 2014  5:30-8:30 pm CST

Richardton School
Wednesday, November 12, 2014  5:30-8:30 pm CST

Lisbon School
Thursday, November 13, 2014  5:30-8:30 pm CST

Carrington Research Extension Center
Monday, November 17, 2014   6:00-9:00 pm CST

Each location will offer 4-H project related workshops based on feedback from last year’s 4-H volunteer training evaluations and Extension staff input.

Registration will be July 1, 2014 and the fee for the training will be $5 per person. This training is sponsored by the National 4-H Council. Locations were chosen based on Extension agent request, willingness to host these events, and interest expressed by local 4-H volunteers. We hope to see your 4-H volunteers at one of these locations. Brochures for each location will be available on the web site and in county mail soon. Please share the dates and locations with your volunteers. If you are interested in hosting one of these events in your county next year please contact Rachelle Vettern
