Student
Organizations
International
Several international student organizations provide students with
an opportunity for fellowship while they are at North Dakota State
University. The International Student Association represents students
from any country. It coordinates activities such as travel to local
attractions, ski trips, parties, and International Week.
Other student organizations with international affiliation are: Association
of Students From India, Bangladeshi Student Association, Chinese Student
Association, International Wives Club, Korean Student Association,
Latin American Student Association, Malaysian Student Association,
Tri-college Chinese Christian Fellowship, and the Union of Chinese
Students and Scholars.
Contact with the above student organizations can be made by writing
to: Office of Student Organizations, Memorial Union, North Dakota
State University, P.O. Box 5476, Fargo, ND 58105-5476, USA.
Special Interest
There are nearly 200 other student organizations which students can
join. Special interest groups range from the Badminton Club to honor
societies to choral and instrumental groups. Sometimes organizational
activities take students far beyond the campus boundaries; for example,
the Ski Club has made excursions to the Grand Tetons in Wyoming and
Banff National Park in Canada.
At North Dakota State University, students are encouraged to become
involved in campus organizations because participation brings with
it a more rewarding and richer university experience, provides leadership
experience, and offers opportunities to get to know other students.
