EXPENDABLE EQUIPMENT/DURABLE SUPPLIES TCCs (570 - 572) The intent of this category is to replace the expendable equipment TCCs that were in the equipment category (i.e., TCC 601, 603, 604, 607). Effective 7/1/95, equipment purchases that are less than $750 must be charged to this category (which is under the Operating Expense budget) and cannot be charged against the equipment budget, even in state appropriated funds.
Expendable equipment/Durable Supplies - (TCC 570) - to be used for any personal property items for which the amount to be paid is $750.00, or less, individually. Amount to be paid includes freight and installation charges. These items will not be added to the equipment record. This should be used in all local, grant, or appropriated funds - except plant funds.
Expendable equip =>$500 =<$750 - (TCC 571) - Should not be used effective 7/1/97. IT Equipment < $750 - (TCC 572) - to be used for any information technology personal property items for which the amount to be paid is $750.00, or less, individually. Amount to be paid includes freight and installation charges. These items will not be added to the equipment record.
