Scholarships - (TCC 651) - should be used for awards to undergraduate students based on scholastic achievement and/or financial need. Recipients of scholarships are not expected to render services to the University in consideration for their awards, nor are they expected to repay the awards.

Stipends - (TCC 652) - should be used for paying a fixed sum of money to help defray expenses. This TCC cannot be used in state appropriated funds.

Dependency Allowances - (TCC 653) - Not used by NDSU.

Book Allowances - (TCC 654) - Used when approved in grant agreements. Interdepartmental billings are used to credits student accounts at the Varsity Mart.

EOG Awards-Initial - (TCC 660) - Should only be used by Student Financial Aids to record grants-in-aid from the Pell grant and the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) programs. This TCC is used only for the student's initial award at the University.

EOG Awards-Renewal - (TCC 661) - Should only be used by Student Financial Aids to record grants-in-aid from the Pell grant and the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) programs. This TCC is used for any awards to the student after the initial award.

Fellowships - (TCC 662) - should be used for awards to graduate students based on scholastic achievement and/or financial need. Recipients of fellowships are not expected to render services to the University in consideration for their awards, nor are they expected to repay the awards.

Waivers - (TCC 663 - 670 & 659) - should be used only by the Business Office to record tuition and fee waivers or remissions on the tuition and fee billing system. TCCs used to record tuition and fee waivers are as follows:
