Student Involvement
Nearly 300 student organizations provide leadership and social opportunities at NDSU. Organizations include student government, fraternities, sororities, academic and honor societies, musical and theatrical performance groups, community service networks, cultural affiliations and much more. Athletics
NDSU has a long winning tradition in Bison Athletics. As members of the Summit League, Missouri Valley Conference and Western Wrestling Conference, Bison compete in Division I.
Men's Teams: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, track and field, and wrestling
Women's Teams: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball.
Fine Arts
The Department of Fine Arts at NDSU provides musical and theatrical performance opportunities for all students. Many performances are free to NDSU students.
Study Abroad
Study abroad programs allow students to experience another culture while receiving credit at NDSU. Opportunities are available in in Asia, Australia/the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America. Exchange programs let students pay NDSU tuition while attending partner institutions in Australia, Brazil, Chile, Cyprus, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden.
