I came to NDSU in a non-traditional way, by transferring here after the first semester of my freshman year. My main reason for transferring to NDSU was because it was one of the few schools that had my major. After attending NDSU for a semester I have come to love the beautiful campus, the welcoming students, and the small, homey feel of the campus!

I really liked how friendly everyone was when I toured and also like how Fargo has everything a big city has to offer, while still not being an overwhelmingly large campus. NDSU also had a very good nursing program and I had already known that I wanted to do nursing.

I chose NDSU because when I helped move my brother in his freshman year here I fell in love with the campus. This campus feels like a separate community and is incredibly welcoming. I also love the city of Fargo. Coming from such a small town, Fargo is a big enough city for a change of pace, but small enough to where it's not overwhelming; it felt like home.

I chose to come to NDSU because of the academic programs offered, the friendly environment and accessibility to join different organizations and groups on campus easily. Also, both my parents attended NDSU so I have always been a Bison fan! Go Bison!
