I came to NDSU in a non-traditional way, by transferring here after the first semester of my freshman year. My main reason for transferring to NDSU was because it was one of the few schools that had my major. After attending NDSU for a semester I have come to love the beautiful campus, the welcoming students, and the small, homey feel of the campus!
I chose NDSU for its excellence in agriculture programs, as well as the location.
I chose NDSU because of its strong and high quality education. I also liked the perfect size of the campus and student body as well as the strong sense of community that the city of Fargo shares with NDSU.
I chose NDSU because when I visited I felt at home. I also picked NDSU because it is a great school academically, it is affordable and I was also looking for a university that had great school spirit. NDSU met all of my expectations.
I chose NDSU for many reasons. I have a family history of attending NDSU and love all of the opportunities available here! NDSU had everything I was looking for from great academics and people, to the numerous organizations and clubs.
I loved (and still do love) NDSU for the many opportunities, the great professors and academics, the people, the friends, the size, and more. There is nowhere else I’d rather go to college! I can 100% say it has shaped me and molded me into a much better person, I haven’t regretted my choice for a second.
After visiting NDSU, I knew it was the right fit! I originally applied due to the Pharmacy program, but stayed because of the friendly atmosphere and great people! We truly are one family here!
I chose to attend NDSU because of the welcoming feeling I felt visiting the campus and because of the engineering program.
NDSU allowed me to grow as my own person while still having family and friends close, if I needed them. That and its quality of education are why I chose to be a Bison.
I chose NDSU because of the sense of community, the affordability, and because they have a great nursing program.
I chose NDSU because it had the professional pharmacy program, and it gave me the feeling of a big campus while still knowing other students when walking around campus. NDSU also has so many great ways to get involved on campus and opportunities to meet lots of new people!
I chose NDSU because when I helped move my brother in his freshman year here I fell in love with the campus. This campus feels like a separate community and is incredibly welcoming. I also love the city of Fargo. Coming from such a small town, Fargo is a big enough city for a change of pace, but small enough to where it's not overwhelming; it felt like home.
I chose NDSU because it is an agriculture university which is one of my passions. I liked all the research opportunities to learn hands-on and the many different clubs/organizations. I was also drawn in by the friendly atmosphere from students and administration.
I chose to come to NDSU because of the academic programs offered, the friendly environment and accessibility to join different organizations and groups on campus easily. Also, both my parents attended NDSU so I have always been a Bison fan! Go Bison!
I chose NDSU because of the beautiful campus and the fact that it is a medium-sized campus.
NDSU has just the right amount of people, academic majors, and variety of student-led organizations. Living in Fargo for the time that I have, I have now become a Bison and I have the beard to prove it.
I chose NDSU because of its family-like atmosphere and because of the great things the university has to offer! NDSU is large enough to provide opportunities that only larger universities can offer, and yet still student-focused enough to provide its students with the ability to actually take advantage of those opportunities.
As soon as I stepped onto the campus, I felt like I was home. NDSU is a great university that offers vast opportunities, diversity and spirit. The campus is beautiful and the people are so friendly. NDSU was the only school that I applied to and it has been one of the best decisions I have made.
My name is Gabrielle, but I go by Gabby. I chose NDSU because I loved the beautiful campus, I had a great tour guide, and lastly, I went to a presentation with Dr. Peterson (the associate dean of the College of Business) and he sold me NDSU.
