Army ROTC Scholarships

Whether you're a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades, not financial need. University based scholarships are also available.

Anyone interested in Army ROTC can begin by checking out Go Army - ROTC or by Contacting Us.

These sholarships can be applied toward tuition and fees or room and board. No commitment to the Army is made until a scholarship is fully accepted.

Army ROTC scholarships are valuable in many ways

  • Two, three, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree
  • 100% of tuition paid , even out-of-state tuition
  • Additional $600 pay for books and fees per semester

Army ROTC scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year. You can earn certain amounts depending on your level in the Army ROTC curriculum:

  • 1st year $300 per month
  • 2nd year $350 per month
  • 3rd year $450 per month
  • 4th year $500 per month

Contracted Cadets receive the stipend even if they are non-scholarship.

National Guard or Reserve Soldiers

The Simultaneous Membership Program is for soldiers already in the National Guard. SMP cadets are also eligble for the Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship.

Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) scholarships are available through the ARNG for students that desire to participate in the Senior ROTC program. These scholarships guarantee that the student once graduated from school and commissioned in the U.S. Army must serve their obligation in the ARNG. ARNG scholarships are available in the following lenghts: 2, 2.5, and 3-years. These Cadets also receive weekend drill and annual training pay as participants in the Simultaneous Membership Program. To be eligible for the scholarships the student must have exactly that amount of school remaining. Contact us to determine specific eligibility requirements.

Active Duty Enlisted Soldiers

The Green to Gold Program is for currently active enlisted soldiers who wish to stay on active duty while obtaining their college degree.
