Payment Information

Making Payments

Students are required to monitor their own financial accounts and make payments by the established Due Dates.

Statements will not be mailed to students currently enrolled in classes, however, monthly e-billings are sent to student NDSU email accounts.

Failure to pay by the due dates may result in late fees, holds, and/or cancellation.

The account balance may be monitored on Campus Connection by clicking on:

• Campus Finances > Account Inquiry
• View "summary" to obtain the total amount you owe to NDSU
• View "activity" to review the detail of your charges
• View "Charges Due" to see a summary of your charges by due date
  
  

Payments can be made in the following ways:

1. Online: access Campus Connection and pay online with Master Card, Discover Card, American Express or electronic check
2. By Mail: send checks or money orders to: Bison Connection, NDSU Dept. 5290, P.O. Box 6050, Fargo, ND 58108-6050
3. In Person: at both the Bison Connection service center in the Memorial Union and Barry Hall . Checks and cash are accepted during office office hours.
4. Monthly Payment Plan: students can enroll to have the semesters charges paid in monthly installments
   

To ensure timely processing please include the student identification number with all payments.

Note: Credit cards are not accepted at Bison Connection or Customer Account Services offices for payments on student accounts.

Online Payments

Students are now able to pay NDSU account charges online through the Campus Connection web site by following the path:

• Campus Finances > View Statement/Pay Online Now > Payments > Make a Payment

Students can:

• Pay by electronic check from personal savings or checking accounts
  • Debit card transactions can now be made through electronic checking by entering the bank account and routing number
  • There are no charges for paying with electronic check
• Pay by Discover, Master Card or American Express
  • Credit card payments are assessed a non-refundable service fee of 2.75% of the total charges (minimum of $3.00).
• Set up authorized users to:
  • View account information
  • Receive notice of electronic billing
  • Make payments on account

Monthly Payment Plan

Agreeing to a Monthly Payment Plan at NDSU enables students to space out tuition and fee payments over the course of the semester and as long as payments are current it eliminates late fees and past due balance holds on the student's account. A Monthly Payment Plan can also reduce the need for financial aid and short-term loans
