Bison Card Center

Welcome to the Bison Card Center. As you begin your tenure at NDSU you will become familiar with the Bison Card Center and its services including the issuing of your Student ID, the Bison Card. You will need to stop by the Bison Card Center located directly behind the Bison Connection in the Memorial Union to receive your Bison Card sometime before your first day of classes (bring appropriate ID). The Bison Card is required for many of your day-to-day activities at NDSU. In addition, the Bison Card Center has information regarding meal plans and can add Bison Bucks to your account.

New NDSU Cards are Coming!

The new cards include proximity technology, which will replace keys for external door access and are easier to use. These cards no longer need to be "swiped," you can simply place your card near the proximity reader.

This system will allow NDSU services to be better integrated, and will provide better security and access.

Over the next year, existing magnetic stripe door hardware will be replaced with proximity readers. As your need for door access changes through this transition, please come to the Bison Card Center (Memorial Union, main level) to exchange your current ID for the new card. Residence hall students will receive the new cards at check-in this fall.

Returning students, faculty or staff can exchange their current cards for new ones at no cost. New NDSU students or current card holders who may have lost their card, will pay $20 for the card. Cards damaged beyond normal use can be replaced for $10.

If you have any questions please contact us at the card center at 701-231-6252 or e-mail at ndsu.bison.card@ndsu.edu.
