Osher Reentry Scholarship
The Bernard Osher Foundation established the Osher Reentry Scholarship Program to provide scholarship support for students pursuing their first baccalaureate degree after a significant break in their studies. The scholarship program was designed for students who may have taken a break from their college studies due to personal challenges, financial hardships, illness, or family responsibilities and for students who didn’t start college immediately following high school. Presently, there are 86 colleges and universities in 47 states participating in the program. North Dakota State University was recently selected as a full participant in this scholarship program.
The priority application deadline for the 2013-2014 academic year is June 15, 2013. Applications will be accepted until all awards are filled. A scholarship committee will review all applications and evaluate applicants based on the criteria listed above. Award recipients will be notified by letter beginning July 1, 2013.
