Satisfactory Academic Progress
In order to remain eligible for federal financial aid, certain alternative loans, and tuition waivers, you must meet Standards of Academic Progress (SAP):
- Complete 66.67% of all attempted credits and each semester and cumulatively;
- Earn a minimum GPA of 2.0 each semester and cumulatively;
- Not exceed 150% of the published number of credits required to complete your program (183 credits for most four year undergraduate program);and
- Not receive all Fs, incompletes, or blank grades in any given semester.
Violation of criterion one, two, or three will result in a warning for the next period of enrollment followed by disqualification if the SAP requirements are not met. Violating the fourth criterion will result in loss of federal aid without benefitting from a warning semester. For more information, please review the entire SAP policy.
