Professor Traub teaches Operations Management and supply Chain Management. Research interests include operations strategy, scheduling, and combinatorial optimization. His publications address issues that hospitals encounter when scheduling patients for surgery and the techniques for improving utilization of personnel and equipment as hospitals seek methods of controlling costs. Traub also has delivered customized training on Statistical Process Control (SPC) for manufacturing and quality engineers.
