Coalwell graduated from North Dakota State University and was Dilworth (MN) mayor for two terms until 2010. He has 20 years of banking experience and is working out of the branch in southwest Fargo. Marohl hired at congressional office: North Dakota Rep.-elect Kevin Cramer announced Friday the first round of staff hires for his congressional offices in North Dakota and Washington, DC. House members can hire as many as 18 full-time and four part-time employees. Cramer said in a news release that he plans to leave some positions open for "future opportunities" and as "needs are presented". Chris Marohl was hired as a legislative assistant. Marohl worked at the North Dakota PSC for two years as a public utilities analyst. Marohl earned his bachelor's degree in finance from North Dakota State University.

Todd Schnell receives recognition: Todd W. Schnell, vice president and senior associate general counsel at RBC Capital Markets, was recognized by the Association of Corporate Counsel as a 2012 Value Champion in Orlando, FL. The ACC Value Challenge is based on the concept that law departments can use management practices that enhance the value of legal service spending and that law firms can reduce their costs to corporate clients and still maintain strong profitability.
North Dakota CPA group elects president: Leonice (Len) M. Spichal was elected as the president of the North Dakota Society of CPAs at the annual convention in Minor last September. Len has been involved as an officer and board member for many years. She has also been active with FMCPA for many years.
