Kelly Holwagner named VP of Operations
at Western Computer.   Western is a global Microsoft business solutions reseller and implementation company.   Holwagner was previously employed by Microsoft (formerly Great Plains Software) since 1998.   He earned a BS in business administration from North Dakota State University and lives in Fargo.


Noridian promotes in Fargo:
  Noridian Administrative Services, Fargo, has promoted Jennifer Satter to HR employment manager at Noridian Mutual Insurance Co.  Satter provides HR-related services that are aligned with the strategic goals of the human resources and development division and NAS.  In 2001, she was hired at NMIC as an HR generalist and was promoted to senior representative in 2004. In 2005, she was promoted to team leader.   Satter grew up in Fargo and graduated from NDSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration.   She earned a Professional in Human Resources certification in 2000.  


DFC Consultants names technical consultant:
  Cory Severson has joined DFC Consultanta, Fargo, as a technical consultant.   He will assist customers with implementations, upgrades and support of software solutions including Microsoft Dynamics GP and Business Portal.   Severson has more than seven years of experience and previously worked at Microsoft as a senior support engineer.  He has master's degrees in business administration and project management from the University of Mary and bachelor's degrees in management information systems and business administration from North Dakota State University.


Bell State Bank names new branch manager:  
  Jonathan Donnelly has been named vice president and branch manager of Bell State Bank and Trust's location in Hawley, MN.   Donnelly, a Fargo native, earned business and finance degrees from North Dakota State University and has worked in the banking field for nearly 10 years.   He joined Bell State Bank & Trust in 2008 and most recently served as vice president and branch manager at the location at 5050 13th Ave S., Fargo.


Stoneridge Software hires Loeks:
  Stoneridge Software, based in the Fargo-Moorhead area, has hired Kristi Loeks as a consultant specializing in human resources, payroll and financials.  Loeks is a certified public accountant, certified associate in project management, and has more than 17 years of experience in consulting, public accounting and private business.   She was a Microsoft Dynamics GP consultant for more than six years and was in project management for two years.   She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration from North Dakota State University.


Koropathicki promoted at Choice Financial:
  Kayla Koropatnicki has been promoted to mortgage loan originator at Choice Financial's location at 4501 23rd Ave S., Fargo.   Koropatnicki joined Choice Financial more than 10 years ago as a customer service representative.  She has also held positions as a health savings account adviser and virtual banker.  She graduated from North Dakota State University with a BS in business administration.


Engineering firm hires in West Fargo office:
  Moore Engineering, West Fargo, has hired Kara Johnson as a human resources assistant in its West Fargo office.  Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in management and business administration from NDSU.   She was previously employed  


Catholic Charities HD hires Sylvester:
  Catholic Charities North Dakota, Fargo, has hired Shar Sylvester as director of finances.  Sylvester has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a master's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.   She was previously a controller at Precision Equipment Manufacturing.   Sylvester is also a major in the North Dakota Army National Guard with more than 23 years of service.


Schlauderaff promoted to chief financial officer:
  High Point Networks, West Fargo, has promoted Kelly Schlauderaff to chief financial officer.  Schlauderaff has more than 10 years of accounting and operations experience.   He has been with High Point Networks since 2008, most recently as an accountant/controller.  Schlauderaff received a bachelor's degree in accounting from North Dakota State University and recently earned the certified public accountant designation.


Blazek joins First International Bank:
  Steve Blazek has joined First International Bank and Trust as a senior vice president/business banking manager at the branch at 3001 25th St S., Fargo.   Blazek, a lifelong resident of Fargo, has 20 years of banking experience and earned a master's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.


Houston Engineering hires HR administrator:
  Lois Erickson has joined Houston Engineering, Fargo, as human resources administrator in the Fargo office.   Erickson is originally from Mayville, ND, and graduated from NDSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration.   She is a certified Professional in Human Resources.   Erickson previously worked in Fargo at The Forum, Agcountry and Global Electric Motorcars.  She has more than 20 years of related experience in the human resources field.


Stadum joins father in financial business:
  Tom Stadum has joined his father, Roger Stadum, at UBS Financial Services, Fargo.  Tom will represent the third generation of Stadums in the financial services business.   He graduated in 2012 from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in finance.   He also recently completed the Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA examinations.


New at Miller Insulation, Bismarck, ND:
  Corey Hager is a certified public accountant with more than 10 years of accounting experience and has a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from North Dakota State University.


Rep. Cramer makes staff changes in Washington:
  Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., has announced staff changes in his office in Washington.  Legislative assistant Chris Marohl has been promoted to legislative director.   Marohl is from Bismarck and worked at the Public Service Commission as a public utility analyst before joining Cramer's office.   He earned a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from North Dakota State University.


Bremer Bank promotes Lund to vice president:
  Bremer Bank has promoted Jennifer Lune to vice president in treasury management in Fargo.   She was previously an assistant vice president in the treasure management area.   Lund was a credit analyst at Community First Bank in Fargo and joined Bremer Bank in 2000 as a credit analyst in Fargo.   She moved into treasure management in 2002, and was named assistant vice president in 2004.   She has a bachelor's degree in business from North Dakota State University.


Lift'n Buddy hires sales coordinator:
  Brad Lindemann has been hired as the sales coordinator for Lift'n Buddy, Fargo.   Lindemann is a graduate of NDSU with a degree in business administration.


Branca joins Stoneridge Software:
  Tom Branca has joined Stoneridge Software in Fargo as a senior consultant and owner in the business.  He has worked the last five years at Microsoft in Fargo as a leader of the Dynamics AX support team.   Before that, he was technical lead at VMC, a technology consulting and outsourcing company.   Branca earned a BS in management information systems from North Dakota State University.


Chad Kost named COO at Spectrum Aeromed:
  Spectrum Aeromed, Fargo, has named Chad Kost to the company's new position of chief operating officer.   Kost previously worked for the company as a consultant.   He also worked for 17 years in the banking industry, most recently managing the financial reporting for Bank of the West's consumer loan portfolio.  He was also involved in the bank's mergers and acquisitions, credit analysis, business banking, project management and bank integration.   He graduated from Mayville (ND) State University with a BS in business administration, and earned a master's degree in business administration from NDSU.


Financial rep named college unit director:
  Bret Kinzler, financial representative with Northwestern Mutual, has been appointed college unit director in the Fargo area.   He will continue to be part of a network of specialists offering a range of products, and will also recruit, train and mentor financial representative interns.  Kinzler is originally from Kensal, ND, and earned a BS in business administration and finance from NDSU.


Justin Wayne Kutzer
has accepted a new job as Development Manager at OutFront Minnesota in Minneapolis.   He is a graduate of North Dakota State University, with a bachelor's degree in business administration.


Mark Wallace promoted at Western State Bank:
  Mark Wallace has been promoted to credit officer at Western State Bank, West Fargo.   He joined the bank in 2012 as a credit analyst.   Originally from Northwood, ND, Wallace earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.


Sundog announces new hire:
  Sundog, Inc., Fargo, has hired Erin Heinrich as a project manager.   Heinrich has nine years of experience after holding a variety of positions in the client services and marketing industries.  She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from North Dakota State University.


First International Bank announces hires, promotion:
  First International Bank and Trust has hired  Keith Coalwell as vice president/Moorhead branch manager, and Karma Richtsmeier as a loan assistant in the southwest Fargo location.  Coalwell graduated from North Dakota State University and was Dilworth (MN) mayor for two terms until 2010.  He has 20 years of banking experience and is working out of the branch in southwest Fargo.  He will manage the Moorhead office at 800 30th Ave S, which will open in the spring.  Richtsmeier has seven years of banking experience as a customer service representative and loan processor.   Originally from Hunter, ND, she graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in business administration.


Choice Financial hires Cook as credit banker:
  Jordan Cook has joined Choice Financial as a credit banker at the locatino at 4501 23rd Ave S, Fargo.  He previously was a credit analyst with a financial institution and was also an FDIC bank examiner.  Cook graduated from North Dakota State University with degrees in finance and economics.


First Class Mortgage in Fargo hires Hertz:
  First Class Mortgage has hired Troy Hertz as a mortgage processor at its office at 300 45th St S., Fargo.  Hertz has 20 years of experience in the consumer finance industry.  He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from North Dakota State University.  


Oldyn hired as client service representative:
  Absolute Marketing Group, Moorhead, has hired Kristen Oldyn as a client service representative.  Oldyn, a native of Eagan, MN, previously worked for Absolute Marketing as a media buying intern.  She graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in business marketing.   She is also an assistant coach with the NDSU Bison Dance Team.


Miller promoted at MDU:
  Derek Miller of Bismarck has been promoted in the internal auditing department at MDU Resources Group Inc.  Miller has been with MDU Resources since 2011 as an information technology auditor I, and has been promoted to IT auditor II.  Miller has a master's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Dakota.  


Absolute Marketing hires traffic coordinator:
  Absolute Marketing Group, Moorhead, has hired Sara Bakken as traffic coordinator.   She has bachelor's degrees in marketing and retail merchandising from North Dakota State University.  Bakken will set up and monitor all marketing projects, edit written materials, hire and supervise interns, assist marketing advisors and manage team events.   She has worked in retail store operations and associate management, and also interned with GoRadio Broadcasting.


TMI Hospitality hires Uhlir and Tysdal in Fargo:  
Fargo-based TMI Hospitality has hired Tommy Uhlir as an online marketing analyst, and McKenna Tysdal as a contract administrator and legal assistant.  Uhlir graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing.  Tysdal graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.  She was previously employed as an office assistant in research, creative activities and technology at NDSU in the Research Tech Park.
