Ron Johnson is Dean and professor of management for the College. Prior to joining NDSU in 2005, Dean Johnson served as dean and professor of management at the Arthur J. Kania School of Management at the University of Scranton, (Scranton, Pa.) and the associate dean for graduate and international programs and MBA director at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has also held professional positions with Texas A & M University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Northeast Louisiana University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
In addition, Dean Johnson has held elected and/or appointed leadership positions (including president) with regional divisions of the Academy of Management and the Decision Sciences Institute, served as financial officer for the Society for Industrial and Organization Psychology (SIOP), and managed SIOP's annual conference for seven years.
