Directors' Message

Thank you for visiting the College of Business at North Dakota State University Graduate Programs Page. It is our pleasure to welcome you as you explore and gather information about our two graduate programs, the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Accountancy. Information about the College is available here too.

We are one of only two graduate business programs in North Dakota and western Minnesota accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).  AACSB "...represents the highest standard in the world..." for business education.

MBA and MAcc students work with top NDSU graduate faculty with extensive expertise from prominent research institutions and work experience -- including management of billion-dollar portfolios and applied engineering management at Fortune 500 firms. Our approach to learning combines case study and applied learning in a collaborative environment. The learning environment also provides students the opportunity to draw from the experiences of fellow students from diverse backgrounds as well as interact with leaders from the top business industries.

Another opportunity we offer is our new "home" for the College of Business. Richard H. Barry hall, a new addition to the downtown campus, provides our students with the opportunity to integrate with the heart of the business community. The new facility combines an existing building with a new education wing and two-story auditorium for a total of 115,000 square feet. It is a source of pride for everyone connected with the affairs of the College - students, faculty and staff, friends, and supporters.

Thank you for taking the time to explore our website. We look forward to meeting with you!

Karen Froelich, Interim MBA Director
Cynthia Timmerman, MAcc Director
