Spring 2007 charges:
The tuition and fee charges have posted to accounts on Campus Connection.
If you are receiving any kind of a waiver or a third-party billing, these
will begin posting 1/2/07. Housing and meal charges will post to accounts
on 12/27/06. Tuition charges with "CE" or "DE" included in the
description field are for Continuing Education or Distance Education
credits, respectively. These tuition charges are not subject to the 12
credit tuition cap.
No Statements:
Statements are not mailed to enrolled students. Your account balance may
be found on the Campus Connection site under Student Self-Service —>
Learner Services —> Finances. Please continue to monitor your account
balance even after you have made payments or after financial aid has
applied to your account.
Payments:
The Business Office will be set up in the Memorial Union Ballroom on
Monday, January 8th through Wednesday, January 10th for accepting payments
from students not receiving financial aid. For dates other than
previously stated, the Business Office will accept payments in Old Main,
Room 101 or by mail at PO Box 5456 Fargo, ND 58105.
Financial Aid:
If you will be receiving financial aid, the aid will begin applying on
Thursday, January 18th. Most financial aid will be applied
electronically. If your aid does not apply electronically, you will be
individually notified by either phone or email. Any excess aid will be
refunded via direct deposit or a mailed check. To enroll for direct
deposit, the Direct Deposit Authorization form may be found at:
http://www.ndsu.edu/business_office/forms/achform2005.pdf. Please have
the direct deposit form submitted by 12/29/06. If you have a balance
still owing after your aid has applied, you may make your payment in the
Memorial Union Ballroom on Wednesday, January 24th through Friday, January
26th.
Late Fees:
A Late Fee of $50 will be assessed to all student accounts not paid in
full by 5:00 PM, February 2nd. Varsity Mart charges are excluded from
this late fee as they are due by March 9th. Students who have not paid
their Varsity Mart charges by 5:00 PM, March 9th will be charged a Varsity
Mart late fee of $50.
Cancellation for NonPayment:
Students who have not paid any amount towards their NDSU charges by 5:00
PM, February 15th will be canceled for nonpayment on February 16th.
Students who are canceled still will be billed for 25% of their tuition
and fee charges. If you decide not to attend classes, please complete an
official withdrawal process (see information below). Withdrawals
completed within the first 8.99% of class completion receive a 100%
refund. To prevent cancellation, a minimum of $100 needs to be paid.
Withdrawing from NDSU:
If you have registered for classes for the Spring 2007 semester and you
wish to withdraw prior to the start of the semester, you must notify the
Office of Registration and Records in writing and complete the
"Cancellation of Registration" form which may be found at:

If you wish to withdraw from NDSU on or after 1/9/06, you must notify the
Business Office in writing and complete the Withdrawal to Zero Credits.
