Responsible for programming performance arts events that carry a culturally rich and educational value. The committee's goal is to offer educational, as well as diverse and entertaining programs. Some program ideas include music, dance and theatre.

Tonic Sol-Fa

Although they are simply four voices and a tambourine, Tonic Sol-fa has spent considerable time on the road carving their niche as the nation’s top vocal group. In the midst of touring, this quartet has been named one of the top five “must see” groups in America, has been awarded numerous original song and album awards in pop, gospel and holiday genres, appeared on NBC’s Today Show and in the pages of Newsweek magazine. Outings with Jay Leno, Shawn Colvin, and Garrison Keillor have propelled album sales to more than 2,000,000 copies (mostly sold from the back of their trailer!) and have earned the group thousands of intensely loyal fans.

"These ladies are the Aerial Angels, a high-flying show based in Michigan, featuring acrobatics, whip-cracking, trapeze and aerial fabric. Performing on their hot pink, freestanding rig, they blend comedy with edge-of-your-seat thrill. They have performed across the globe from Dublin Street Performer World Championships to the kick-off party for Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull."

Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos

"For a pair of self-taught pianists from Minnesota, David Charles Eichholz and Ted Manderfeld have mastered the sophisticated nuances of burlesque's best ribald and bawdy traditions, which made Las Vegas and Paris famous. Eichholz and Manderfeld are the members of Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos, a piano duo offering a Las-Vegas-style show of comedy and extensive audience participation featuring an unlikely surprising mix of music and parodies that range from classic rock and country to rap and show tunes."

Taikoza

太鼓座 ー TAIKOZA- The premiere Taiko drums, Bamboo Flutes and Dance Ensemble that will blow you away with their performance.

Experience the thunderous rhythms of the ancestral Japanese Taiko drums and the magical sounds of the bamboo flutes. Hear and feel the ancestral Taiko drums give thunderous voice to traditional and new compositions.Roughly translated, Taiko means big drums-and that’s exactly what Taikoza brings. Big Drums, powerful rhythms, and electrifying, room-thumping energy. This exciting group draws from Japan’s rich tradition of music and performance to create a highly visual performance. With colorful traditional costumes and dynamic motion, Taikoza’s shows are immensely popular with audiences of all ages. Drawing from Japan's rich tradition of music and performance, Taikoza has created a new sound using a variety of traditional instruments. In addition to drums of assorted sizes, Taikoza incorporates the shakuhachi and the fue (both bamboo flutes) and colorful dances.

The group has toured internationally and has appeared on ESPN, NBC, History Channel, Swiss TV, Russian National TV and many other programs around the world. Taikoza’s music is featured on Nintendo’s wii game: Red Steel 1 and 2.
