What is your First Impression?

• This is a stylish outfit, and she looks nice
• Dressed appropriate for an informal "meet and greet lunch"
• Looks fresh, confident and "herself", which we like to see...natural personality; However, if the event is not specifically described as "casual/jeans” or she accidentally stumbled into the first impression opportunity I would think for her benefit she would put more effort into wearing business attire

Is this appropriate for a Career Fair?

• We understand that some students will be between classes and stopping by the career fair and try not to over-analyze outfits; However, she will be competing against others wearing more appropriate business attire who may come across as more polished - Puts more emphasis on her to convince us through communication skills that she's a serious candidate for a job
• It looks like she has made a mistake and is in the wrong room if she is wearing this at a career fair

Is this appropriate for an Interview?

• Not appropriate for a professional position
• Definitely not; Would convey that she's not taking the interview seriously
• Not acceptable; Unless you are applying for an unskilled position

• This is a good first impression; Looks like a professional
• Not inappropriate and doesn't put her at a disadvantage in a casual conversation. She dressed professionally in an outfit you'd see in the office at work in our company; First thought I had though is that a lot of black/dark in the outfit sets a tone of conservatism
• Says she is ready to go - probably very creative person; Very appropriate for business after hire

• It looks appropriate for a career fair; It looks like she would be very comfortable

• A good interview outfit for an interview; It also looks like she's applying for positions that this would be her daily outfit
• Ok for an internship interview probably; For full time interviews, I would not recommend V-neck shirts/top for an interview
• Maybe a little too comfortable for a first interview/but wouldn't count against her

• Looks more like an outfit for a social mingling occasion; Not inappropriate business casual for in the workplace and this type of outfit is not uncommon
• I like the dark color, but the sleeveless is not appropriate for work meetings; maybe okay at our desk

• It looks like she would be comfortable; Very stylish shoes...up to date on fashion
• Business casual, not inappropriate

• Fine interview for a position where you don't necessarily get dressed up every day
• Would not recommend short cut sleeves or sleeveless shirt
• Put on a jacket first!

What is your First Impression?

• Wow - she is ready to work; Very committed to her agency/company and plans on using her education/training, skills and talents to advance the agency/company
• I don't think she wears this every day; Why are you showing off your tattoo?
• The skirt pulled above the knees would draw attention to her legs; Our business dress policy advises against skirts above the knees as this would attract unnecessary attention

Is this appropriate for a Career Fair?

• The length of the skirt appears that she would have trouble sitting in an interview setting to be very comfortable
• You can get away with more casual dress than this and still be very effective at the career fair
• Too dressy

• In an interview you want someone to be comfortable and not worrying about the hemline; This is a nice outfit otherwise
• Would wear a pair of dress pants that compliment the top
