What is Meet the Firms?
Meet the Firms is an annual event attended by students
in Accountancy, Accounting, business and finance related majors.
Meet the Firms provides an excellent opportunity to connect with
students
to discuss or interview for current and/or future career-related employment
and
co-op/internship opportunities. Last year over 300 students attended
this event.

When and How do I receive
information about Meet the Firms?
You will automatically receive registration
information for Meet the Firms if you
are registered with the NDSU Career
Center
using NDSU CAREERlink and have recruited for accounting majors.
If you are not sure if you are registered,

How do I register for Meet the Firms?
Registration Deadline has passed.
Registration deadline is Thursday, September 10.
If registering after the September 10 deadline; registration fee will
be $300.
Call 701-231-7112 to see if space is available.

What is the registration
fee?
The registration fee for Meet the Firms is $150.
The registration fee must be paid before the September 10th deadline
to ensure your spot. If registering after the September 10,
deadline; registration fee will be $300 (if space is available).

What does the registration
fee include?
The registration fee includes one six-foot table, tablecloth, chairs,
and refreshments.

How can I pay the registration
fee?
The registration fee may be paid by check or credit card and must be
received by September 17, to avoid a late fee.
Checks should be made payable to NDSU Career Center and
mailed to the

What is the cancellation/refund
policy?
Meet the Firms: Cancellation notification is appreciated
so we may inform students. Refund of the registration fee
will be given for cancellations received by September 10. There is no
refund
of the registration fee for cancellations after September 10.

What is an employer
presentation?
Employers are given a 12-minute presentation time-slot if they select this option
on the registration form. These presentations are given during the hours of Meet
the Firms in a room close to the event. There are limited slots available and
are
given
on
a
first
request basis.

What is an electronic
ad and how do I purchase one?
Electronic ads will be displayed on the jumbo display screens
during Meet the Firms. They will also be displayed on the Meet the Firms
webpage. The ad will cost $75 and may include a logo and short
statement. If interested, contact Kim Teske at 701-231-7112.

There are eight colleges at North Dakota State University.

What students will be invited
to Meet the Firms?
NDSU, MSUM and Concordia undergraduate and graduate students in all accounting
related majors are invited and encouraged to attend Meet the Firms. NDSU
alumni are welcome
to attend Meet the Firms as well.
Meet the Firms is not open to the general public.

Where can I unload my vehicle
for Meet the Firms?
- Visitors lot - south side of Memorial Union
- Students will be available to assist in the unloading/loading
process
- Parking is FREE; you will receive a permit when you arrive
at the event.

Be sure to book your rooms well in advance. To reserve an interview
room or to get information on scheduling an on-campus interview date
