Career Center

The Career Center values relationships with the faculty and staff at NDSU.  By working together we can enhance the professional development of NDSU students.

CAREERlink is the Career Center’s electronic system that provides opportunities for students to connect directly with employers who recruit at NDSU. Students can find Cooperative Education and internships, full-time job postings, on-campus interview schedules, employer information sessions and career event information on CAREERlink.

Encourage students to utilize their CAREERlink account.  If you are interested in logging into CAREERlink, contact our technology coordinator for access. CAREERlink is available to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in degree programs and to NDSU alumni with degrees from NDSU.

Cooperative Education and Internship Program experiences can be a springboard to employment and getting into graduate schools.  In addition to making themselves more marketable, a related work experience is a great way for students to explore a career to find out if it is the right fit.  Internships can help build relationships between the hiring company and the faculty member.  While internships can provide employment, they allow students to network with professionals, build their resumes and give access to unique learning experiences.

Encourage your students to utilize the NDSU Career Center.  Whether scheduling an appointment with a Career Specialist, or needing assistance with job search or looking for an internship, our commitment is to the success of the students in securing employment.

As the centralized campus career resource center, the Career Center offers services to help employers meet their hiring needs.  Whether their goal is to increase visibility on campus, begin an internship program, or fill job openings, the Recruiting Coordinator – karen.jevning@ndsu.edu – is prepared to help.  The Career Center has full service on-campus interviewing capabilities, electronic job boards, and personal assistance to those employers wanting to make classroom presentations, host faculty lunches, and schedule student information sessions.  We tailor our services to meet the needs of the employer.

We welcome the opportunity for "face-time" with your students.
