A mock interview is a practice interview for skill development. It is a simulated interview, designed to develop or test the communication skills of the interviewee.

Make an appointment with a Career Specialist at 701-231-7111 to go over the process and schedule an interview time. Bring your resume, cover letter, and a job description to this appointment.

The day of your interview arrive 5 to 10 minutes early and dress like you would for a real interview. Two career specialists will spend about an hour interviewing you. We’ll ask you a series of questions tailored to the position you're interested in and then spend time giving you feedback.

Note: Mock interviews are also available for those interviewing for graduate/professional school.
