What is your First Impression?
- Not a good impression if the venue is an opportunity to meet a potential employer because it shows you're not trying very hard
- Good everyday outfit, but would want to see adding a suit and tie for a career fair or interview
- The untucked shirt is unprofessional; Goes too far beyond "casual"
- Too casual
- Fine for a very casual weekend
- Sloppy
Is this appropriate for a Career Fair?
- At a minimum, would tuck in the shirt and wear leather shoes if you have them; If you can afford business casual pants vs jeans, would strongly advise that as you'll be compared against more sharply dressed candidates - You are making yourself more work to get past the over-relaxed attire and make yourself credible
- Sloppy, not appropriate for career fair
- Would want to see adding a suit and tie for a career fair
- Too casual
- Wouldn’t necessarily seem interested in what positions were open
- Torn knee, tennis shoes and shirt not tucked in make it inappropriate
- Underdressed
Is this appropriate for an Interview?
- Sloppy, not appropriate for interview
- Add a suit and tie for an interview
- Not appropriate, too casual
- Totally inappropriate
- Never a good choice
- Find a way to purchase at least one "interviewing" outfit or borrow something from a friend/family member if possible
