What is your First Impression?

  • Very professional without going overboard - crisp and clean, but looks comfortable without being restricted
  • Good first impression
  • A bit less formal than wearing a jacket, but it still says this is a person who understands how business works and who takes pride in his appearance
  • Very nice, good colors

  • Nicely dressed

  • Probably not everyday wear; The clothes look nice, though, even without the jacket
  • Looks good
  • Young professional

  • Appropriate (depending on the position interviewing for); The outfit looks professional, well put-together & thought out

  • Looking for a job, took appearance into consideration

Is this appropriate for a Career Fair?

  • Appropriate (depending on the position interviewing for); The outfit looks professional, well put-together & thought out
  • Likely a bit more dressy than most - but that may set you apart. It manages to be professional but still comfortable; An excellent choice!

  • Great career fair look, probably the most common; I like the effort of putting on a tie
  • These would be fine, and show that he made an effort to dress 'up' a bit for the career fair
  • Presentable

  • Great

  • Absolutely; This is the best choice

  • Yes - if they are a senior looking for employment a jacket would help

  • Appropriate for a career fair

Is this appropriate for an Interview?

  • This would be perfectly acceptable for an interview - especially at an entry level position; It would also be perfectly appropriate for most client meetings

  • Would be appropriate

  • Bring a jacket; You don't have to wear it during the interview, but bring it with you

  • Should wear the jacket too; Might be instructed to take jacket off to be more comfortable, but should enter with it on
  • Appropriate (depending on the position interviewing for); The outfit looks professional, well put-together & thought out

  • It does set an impression when I say no suit or tie necessary to interview but they show up slightly exceeding your expectations. This is the most preferred dress for an interview with our company; A jacket can be warm and uncomfortable

  • This may be acceptable for an interview, but a jacket would be beneficial in looking more professional
