Professor Jones teaches Strategic Marketing and Marketing Management. His areas of research include the impact of consumer sales promotion, Internet marketing, and state-pride labels. He has presented to the former Fargo Chamber of Commerce on the A Pride of Dakota program, a brand marketing label that identifies and promotes products made in North Dakota. Professor Jones has worked with a variety of small businesses, assisting each with marketing problems, including customer perceptions of services and products.
