Pre-MIS

Students who wish to major in Management Information Systems must enroll in the pre-management information systems program. This is considered the pre-professional program. Requirements and recommended curriculum presented here reflect the most current catalog year (2007-2008).

Admission into the Professional Program: Students must successfully complete the pre-professional courses that are indicated with an asterisk (*), achieve junior standing (60 credits) and earn a 2.50 institutional cumulative GPA. Students must submit an application to the professional program to the College of Business, Services Center, Putnam Hall 102.

Only courses approved by the University Senate may be used to fulfill General Education Requirements.

A letter grade must be earned in any course that fulfills a major requirement.

Admission to the professional program is required to enroll in the advanced 300 and 400 level Accounting, Business Administration, and Management Information Systems courses.
