Mental Health & Aging Education Project

The purpose of the Mental Health and Aging Education project is to educate and strengthen the networks that older adults interact with daily, enhancing the capacity of natural caregivers to recognize signs of mental health concerns and make appropriate referrals.

The Mental Health and Aging Education project was developed by the North Dakota State University Child Development and Family Science Department.

The project was sponsored by the Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, North Dakota Department of Human Services.

North Dakota Family Caregiver Project

North Dakota State University received Older Americans Act funds from the Department of Human Services, Aging Services Division, to develop the North Dakota Family Caregiver Project. The purpose of the project is to develop training and educational materials to be used to provide support services to informal caregivers through the North Dakota Family Caregiver Support Program. Through education and proper support we want your caregiving experience to be successful. Let us help you make a difference in someone's life.
