Reducing relational stress and maintaining relationship equality can be important towards building healthy relationships. These handouts provide helpful tips to help couples with relationship stress and equality.

The Family Therapy Center (FTC) is located on the north of the North Dakota State University (NDSU) campus in the Stop-N-Go complex. Therapists at the FTC are advanced clinical interns from the NDSU Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) Program. The CFT program is an accredited training program located within the Department of Human Development and Family Science. Therapist interns are supervised by NDSU faculty who are clinical members and approved supervisors of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Therapists and supervisors adhere to standards set forth by AAMFT. The confidentiality of each client is carefully maintained.
Along with their supervisors, therapists join in a collaborative effort to support clients and help them identify personal strengths and resources to improve their relationships and quality of life.
To help accommodate your schedule we offer day, night, and a possibility of weekend appointments. To set up an appointment call 701-231-8534. All calls are kept strictly confidential.
Fees for services are on a sliding scale, depending on income and resources of the client(s). Fees start at $5 for the community. NDSU students receive services for free.
