Congratulations to Dr. Dinesh Katti for being named the recipient of the “John Booker Excellence Medal”, a prestigious international award by the International Association for Computer Methods and Advances in Geomechanics (IACMAG). This award is given every three years in the field of geomechanics and geotechnical engineering on a world-wide basis. The award is based on major contributions to the field of geomechanics and peer recommendations.

NDSU's Steel Bridge Team has a history of performing well in the ASCE/AISC student steel bridge competition. Since the competition began in 1991 the team has wone the National Title 6 times. No other school has wone it even half as many times. So, with that success the students continue their hard work this year in pursuit of another title.
