The role of a team mentor is to work with the teacher and help guide the students through the design and construction of their robot. Each school in the competition is encouraged to have at least one mentor who will arrange hours to meet with their team. On average, the mentor will spend 3-4 hours per week with their team during the 6-week competition periond from September 12 - October 24.
Who can be a mentor?
Mentors can be engineers, university/college students and faculty members, trades people, and other community members interested in helping our youth.
Bison BEST is currently seeking individuals to mentor the teams registered for the competition.
