Newell Wright is the Director of the Center for Global Initiatives and a professor of marketing. Prior to joining NDSU, Dr. Wright was a professor of marketing and Director of the Semester in Antwerp, Belgium, a program which he created, at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This semester abroad opportunity focused on the European Union (EU). Thanks to his efforts, over 800 JMU students studied business in Europe and traveled throughout many of the 27 countries that comprise the EU.
An enthusiastic advocate of international education, Wright is also fluent in French. He brings his passion for international education to NDSU and will help broaden the international education of students at NDSU. Additionally, he is a popular teacher and an active scholar, publishing more than 75 articles in marketing publications during the last 16 years.

Wendy Baumann

Wendy earned a BS degree in Accounting from Moorhead State University (now Minnesota State University Moorhead), and worked in the F-M area as an accountant, office manager, and human resources coordinator before joining the College of Business and Center for Global Initiatives in 2010.
