Fall Semester in Europe
Why Europe?
Why Europe? There are some very good economic reasons for studying business in the European Union. For example: The 27 countries that collectively comprise the European Union (EU) constitute the United States ' largest trading partner. There are over 500,000,000 people in Europe, making it the third largest population block after China and India.
The EU generates approximately 30% of the world's GDP.
The per capita GDP of the European Union is roughly six times that of China and thirteen times that of India.
The EU is North Dakota's second largest trading partner, after Canada.
The EU views some business practices differently than the United States, and the EU view is gaining traction around the world. To compete in the business arena of the future, students need to understand the impact and influence of the European Union on international trade.
