  • Matt Fischer, BS ’03, speech communication, MS ’06, mass communication, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. He is promotional consultant for S&S Promotional Group and COO of GW Gear in Grand Forks, N.D. December 2013
  • Dawn Kopp, BS ’01, apparel and textiles, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. She was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. She is the executive director of the Downtown Business Association of Bismarck, N.D. December 2013
  • Jaclyn Bugbee, BS ’00, accounting, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. She was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. She is executive director of Ruth Meiers Hospitality House in Bismarck, N.D. She previously held positions with the Bismarck State College Foundation and the St. Alexius Foundation. December 2013
  • Bridget (Curley) Bullinger, BS’ 07, dietetics, was honored as the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the North Dakota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics at the North Dakota Long Term Care Association Annual Convention. She is director of culinary services for St. Benedict's Health Center in Dickinson, N.D. December 2013
  • Jesse Tischer, BUS ’00, university studies, received the American College of Healthcare Executives Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award. He is chief operating officer of the Sanford Health Network in Fargo and Sioux Falls, S.D. December 2013
  • Jon Hanson, FS ’06,
    elementary education, joined Warner and Company as property and casualty commercial lines producer. He provides insurance expertise and solutions for businesses in the Fargo-Moorhead region. He previously worked for Verizon Wireless. November 2013
  • Catherine A. Johnson Dutcher, MEd ’01, counseling, joined Catholic Charities of North Dakota as director of counseling. She lives in West Fargo. November 2013
  • Greta Evenson, MEd ’09,  educational administration, was named assistant principal at Fargo South High School. October 2013
  • Michelle Beach, PhD ’09, education-institutional analysis, was nominated for the 2013 International Distance Learning Award – Outstanding Leadership by an Individual by the United States Distance Learning Association. She is a faculty member at Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, Minn. October 2013
  • Brandon Philipczyk, BS 03, political science, as named operations director with the Texas Democratic Party. He lives in Austin, Texas. October 2013
