For all NDSU sites, the "banner link" (activated by clicking on the banner graphic) has been updated to point to the site home page in a different way.

Previously, the link was hard-coded to point to the site's home page using the printable URL format (e.g. www.ndsu.edu/its/ ).  However, because sites are moving under www.ndsu.edu, the template has been updated to point to the site home page using its actual URL.  For sites under www.ndsu.edu , the link appears unchanged.

This change streamlines new NDSU site set-up and keeps authors in preview mode when previewing sites instead of jumping over to the "live" site to reduce confusion.

This is just one more reason why site owners should schedule a "go-live" to move under www.ndsu.edu if not completed already!
