Note: Sites do not appear in this list until they are created. This means requested but not-created sites do not appear in this list. In most cases, site requests are completed within 3 business days. 

Definitions

Live - a site is available at the named URL
Created - a site is not yet available at the named URL.  It is available for authors and publishers to create and publish content, but it is not visible under www.ndsu.edu, for example
Approved - the site has been approved by University Relations but is not yet ready for authoring content
Requested - a site has been requested but not approved or available for authors
Last updated - is the date this line item was last operated on by NDSU-IT or NDSU-UR, not the last time the page was updated with content

Contact page exists but has no content - the content page that was created by default still exists but no content has been created. Someone should create content in the page that is useful for visitors. The contact page is automatically linked from the error (page not found) page. Default pages.

No contact page exists - the content page that was created by default has been deleted or the URL has been changed. Each site should have a contact page (reachable as www.ndsu.edu/yourdepartment/contact. The contact page that (should be) at this Web address is automatically linked from the error (page not found) page so you should create a contact page and provide content in the page that is useful for visitors. Default pages.

More than one contact page exists - automated checks are not able to accurately determine which of the contact pages is the one that appears when visitors go to www.ndsu.edu/yourdepartment/contact. You should verify the page at this address exists and contains content that is useful for visitors. You might consider deleting other pages having the same name to avoid confusion.

Footer content element is the default - the footer content element that was created by default still exists but the content has not been updated for the department. Someone should update the content in the FOOTER1 content element with information that is useful for visitors and follows University Relations guidelines.

Footer content element is missing - the footer content element that was created by default has been deleted. Someone shouldcreate a FOOTER1 content element and update it with information that is useful for visitors and follows University Relations guidelines.

Storage folder missing - the Storage folder created by default has been deleted. Someone should contact the help desk to request it be re-created. Once it's re-created, someone should update the content in the FOOTER1 content element with information that is useful for visitors and follows University Relations guidelines.
