Welcome to MCAL
Welcome to the Materials Characterization and Analysis Laboratory (MCAL). Located within North Dakota State University's Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE), we offer a unique set of analytical capabilities for academic and private sector partners. CNSE operates through research and development contracts and grants from government and the private sector. We welcome cooperative programs with other universities and research institutions. MCAL serves researchers from all sectors, helping you reach your project or program goals utilizing MCAL's analytical instrumentation suite.
MCAL is composed of instrumentation clusters that provide critical insight into the chemical and physical properties for a wide range of materials. As a user-oriented facility, MCAL provides:
-access to state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation
-professional expertise
-instrument training for eligible researchers
MCAL promotes collaboration between academic and private sector partners.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can assist you in reaching your project goals.
