Tell me why you chose Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering . . .
“When I was in high school I asked myself “what are the biggest problems in the world right now?” Cancer and dependence on fossil fuels came to mind. After talking with the department chair of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, I was destined that this degree would be a stable platform to meet one of the two goals I have set for myself. ”
What extra-curricular activities are you involved in?
NDSU Bison Pullers, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), Engineering and Architecture Ambassadors
How has NDSU prepared you for your future?
“NDSU has allowed me to network myself with researchers, professors as well as employers.”
What are your future plans?
“After I acquire my bachelors in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, I want to continue my education so that I can perform at a professional level doing renewable energy and cancer research. ”
What are your thoughts about Fargo?
“Fargo is a great city with polite people. The town is spread out and easy to navigate through. It is just big enough for me!”
What advice would you give to a prospective student?
“My advice to prospective engineering students would be to have your parents take you shopping before you come! Also, I would tell them that if solving problems is something they like to do, engineering is probably for them!”
What has been your best memory at NDSU thus far?
“My best memory at NDSU was when I received the award for Grand Champion of the Agricultural Technology Expo.”
