Online Video Webcast of Commencement Ceremonies
The NDSU Commencement ceremony will be available online via live streaming video through this web site. See the instructions provided below for links and additional information for viewing the commencement ceremonies.
Video Availability
There are three ways you can view video of the commencement ceremonies:
- LIVE VIDEO: the live video stream will begin approximately 10-15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time and will run until the end of the ceremony
- ARCHIVED VIDEO: the recorded webcast of the ceremony will be made available online during the week following the ceremony, this recording will remain available for approximately two months after the ceremony
- DVD: a recorded copy of each ceremony will also be available for purchase ($20) on DVD and can be ordered by completing the Commencement DVD Order Form
(The webcast video will be the same video feed that is displayed on the arena video boards during the ceremony.)
Technical Requirements
Viewing the online video will require that specific software is installed on your computer. In most cases, the required software is already installed on your computer or will automatically alert you of an available download when attempting to launch the video content. Below are links to the software required to view the video content:

- Windows Media Player
- Macromedia Flash Player
PLEASE NOTE:
Video is best viewed using a broadband, high-speed Internet service. Dial-up users may experience buffering delays during playback.
