Fire Alarm Systems

Safety is a priority at NDSU. All campus building are periodically inspected by the local fire inspector. Residence Hall rooms meet the highest standards for sleeping accommodations and have been equipped with state of the art fire alarm systems. Staff participate in safety training classes as well as periodic fire drills.

Tornado Warning Systems

The NDSU campus is equipped with a tornado warning system. Sirens are activated when a tornado warning is issued by the National Weather Service. Conference participants are directed to the nearest secure facility.
