Summer Dining

NDSU Dining Services can meet all your conference dining needs from an economical and healthy dining center meal to an elegant catered meal.

The RDC Summer Dining

As the summer dining center, the Residence Dining Center (RDC) serves thousands of visitors in many different conferences. There’s something available for everyone on the RDC summer menu.

RDC meals are scheduled upon request for summer conference groups; when meals are being served other guests, students, faculty and staff are welcome to join our conference guests. Specific summer meal hours are limited and are posted at the entrance. All meals are served buffet style with cereal, toast and beverages available at every meal. At lunch and dinner meals, a salad bar, two soups and a sandwich bar are also available. A vegetarian entrée is available at lunch and dinner.

The RDC summer menu is posted 10 days in advance.

Catered Meals

The Dining Services staff can turn your meal into a memorable experience. Catered meals can be served in the Memorial Union meeting rooms so that you can find  just the right size area for your event. Banquets up to 425 guests are served in the stately atmosphere of the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. As the exclusive provider of food to the NDSU campus, catering is available for any occasion, location or budget.  Served meals, picnics, box lunches or snacks are just some of the options available. Visit the Dining Services Catering webpage for the full catering menu.

Other summer meal options

The Memorial Union Retail Dining is available week days when classes are in session and has breakfast and lunch options. The food court is not available weekends or holidays.

About dietary accommodations for guests
