Project Food Land & People
Project Food, Land and People (FLP) is is a 55-lesson curriculum developed for grades K-12 by educators to integrate easily into your classroom. The instructional units address core conten and North Dakota state standards and benchmarks. Meet the standards at your grade level with inquiry based learning activities. The activities are meaningful and the objectives are well defined. The lessons were created and written by educators for educators and were rigorously tested and evaluated across the nation.
Register online at http://forms.ndfb.org/FLP_Workshop_Registration.html. Credit is available for one 600 level graduate credit through NDSU. The $40 course fee will be waived for the first 100 educators who register. Cost for graduate credit is $50. The fee is due with your registration form. Registration deadline is 6-1-08 for June workshops and 7-1-08 for the other workshops.
A minimum of ten teachers are needed for a course to be held. Listed below are the dates. The location in the city will be provided after you register:
