Amber Bach-Gorman, M.S., NCC, LPC

Counselor; Crisis Management Coordinator; "NDSU Cares" and "ISP" Coordinator

Hi, my name is Amber Bach-Gorman and I am a counselor here at NDSU. I earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Dakota in Psychology and received my Master's Degree in College/Agency Counseling from the State University of New York in Plattsburgh. My certifications include being a National Certified Counselor, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I am currently pursuing licensure in North Dakota. Prior to working for NDSU, I worked as a Mental Health Counselor for a university in upstate New York.

I am originally from North Dakota and am excited to return after living eight years in New York. My professional interests include working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image, anxiety and depression. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and pets outdoors. My hobbies include cycling, downhill and cross country skiing, as well as cooking!
