Testing Services
Proctoring Services @ NDSU
- NDSU Counseling Center will proctor paper/pencil or computerized tests as needed.
- The charge of $10 an hour will apply for each exam. There is a minimum charge of $10.
- Have the test sent from the company/college to the following address:

- Once we receive the exam, you will be contacted to arrange a time to take the exam. Please fill in the Proctoring Services Sheet.
- Your exam will be sent back to the company by our office.
National Tests and Registration Forms
The Counseling Center administers several national testing programs. Special fees are assessed for these tests. The tests include:
- the American College Testing Program (fees vary)
- the College Level Examination Program ($85 per test)
- the Miller Analogies Test ($70)
- the Praxis Series for Education majors (fees vary)
- and tests of General Education Development. ($20 per test; total of $100)
NDSU Testing Services also makes available information and registration forms for such tests as:
- the Graduate Record Examination
- the Medical College Admission Test
- the Law School Admission Test
CLEP Information for Computer-Based Testing at NDSU
1. Fill out the CLEP registration form , deciding which tests to take. You can either submit this form online, or print it out and bring it with you to turn in when you come to test.
2. Check with the school that you want your results to be sent to, what (if any) kind of credit you will get

4. Call Tiffany Bendickson, Test Administrator, 701.231.7671 to schedule time to take the test. Testing will be offered Monday - Fridays and must be arranged ahead of time. Approximately two hours will be needed for each testing session.

Credit card is the preferred method of payment for CLEP.
6. A photo ID must be shown prior to testing and must include your name, signature and a recognizable photograph.

All testing is by appointment (701.231.7671) only. You must be signed up before 5pm (4pm during summer hours) the day before the test.

Testing will begin promptly at time designated.
- Photo ID with DOB and signature is required prior to testing.
- Payment is required prior to testing:
- Examinee's personal check. If we receive a check that is not from you, we will have to turn you away and you will have to reschedule
- Cash is preferred
- Money Order
- Each test is $20.00 for a total of $100.00 for all five tests. The retest fee is also $20.00 a test and there is a 3 week waiting policy.
- Students aged 18 or younger and whose high school class has not graduated must fill out the GED application, have all the required letters, and bring it to Ceres 212 for approval. The application must be approved before you may test.
- A student who is 18 and whose high school class has graduated must acquire a letter from a school official, with the official's signature, indicating that your class has graduated. That letter must be on school letterhead and submitted to the test center before testing can begin.
