Dante Battocchi has been a Research Associate in the Coatings and Polymeric Materials Department at NDSU, Fargo ND since December 2003.In 2002 he graduated from Trento University (Trento-Italy) with a Degree of Doctor in Materials Engineering and defended a MS in Coatings and Polymeric Materials in November 2003.He joined the Corrosion group at NDSU in 2001 and is conducting research in corrosion protection, coating characterization via electrochemical testing (using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, Electrochemical Noise measurements, Scanning Vibrating Electrode Technique), and in local corrosion. He is currently involved in the characterization and improvement of the performances of Mg-rich primers, in manuscript reviews, and actively contributes in the writing of proposals for future research projects.
