Undergraduate Program

Scholarships

CPM Corporate Scholarships

These scholarships were established by several of the best-known Coatings and Polymeric Materials companies, professional societies, or individuals. Because of their high regard for the quality of the NDSU Coatings and Polymeric Materials program and its graduates, a special fund was set up to encourage talented students with an interest in the chemical sciences to consider the Coatings and Polymeric Materials field.

Scholarships of $500 to $2250 per year are available to undergraduates through the Polymer Chemistry Corporate Scholarship programs. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years depending on continued interest, satisfactory progress in course work, and availability of funds.

High school seniors and transfer students who plan to enter NDSU and who are interested in this field are encouraged to apply through the NDSU Office of Admission. Students already enrolled at NDSU may apply directly to the Coatings and Polymeric Materials Chair, Prof. Stuart Croll, by providing:

  • a brief letter stating interest in the Coatings and Polymeric Materials Program
  • a current transcript
  • a letter of recommendation from an NDSU faculty member, a high school science teacher, or a counselor.
