The focus of this course will include the core functions of public health, partnering with the community, primary prevention, creation of healthy environments, service to those at risk, stewardship of resources, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Prereq: second and third year level nursing courses, NURS 402, 403, 440 and admission to program.
